Bootsie is amazing - what a gentle and sweet personality! Boots had been dumped on a road in Modesto and was found by a cat rescue person. She had a horrible case of Demodex (non-contagious version of Mange mites) but has been on meds for a while and well on the way to recovery! we've been calling her "Dusty Sox" or "Bootsie" as not only does she have little white feet (and chest) but she lets us put socks on her back feet to help her not scratch. she is still so itchy, but the Demodex is cured and mostly cleared up - yay! a week or two and this beautiful girl has more hair fluff growing in, and is more comfortable in this cold weather.

Miss Bootsie is just over a year old now, and she has a great trainable personality. her coat is a rich black, and is filling in nicely and Boots has the most beautiful Shar Pei wrinkles all around her face and neck, and paws - so cute! she loves to snuggle and is right at my feet when i go to bed at night. she is totally non-reactive to cats (i have three) and would love another dog to play with. her little brown eyes shine with love, and that tail just wags and wags (has a cute little white tip too!)

the vet says she may have a few bald patches left when her hair grows in, but such is the way with Demodex. already with fuzz she is so snuggly and super beautiful! they suffer so much with Demodex (so itchy!) and this girl is young, it is likely she's had it her whole life. Bootsie Sox deserves a great home full of love - this pup would truly be a treasure to any family, and would be a great dog park and companion dog. won't you consider this doll? she really IS adorable, and SO playful too!

she is up-to-date on shots.

what a love Dusty is!

don't let the skin condition cloud your view of this sweetie. once you spend a little time with her, you can't help but fall in love, bald spots and all. just slip a sweater on her to keep her warm and she'll be just fine. she's beautiful to me, just the way she is. Yogi and I send you lots of belly rubs!

so good to see you and Yogi

so good to see you and Yogi on Saturday! you had a chance to see how fantastic Bootsie girl is now, with a nice thick black coat. she's been through so much, and has been so patient through treatment - i'd love to see her go to a home where she can bond with her people and be the year old puppy that she is!

dusty!

when can we meet her!?
