THE GREAT SALTINI!

Saltini is a very funny terrier chinese crested mix, he was an owner surrender along with his brother piggie, unfortunately his loving mother was not able to find a place to live with the two lovely boys. Salty has a very typical Chinese Crested personality, very loving cuddly but reserved. Almost like a cat! Salty may need some gentle coaxing in his new home.... he is extremely sensitive and bonds easily to people......

Salty and his brother Piggy are very very bonded and we'd very much like for them to be placed together.

Salty is up-to-date on shots and neutered.

Saltini was one of my favorite pooches! He is all about snuggles and cuddles. He is unique and gets a lot of attention. When you scratch his little head and little tuft of hair he looks you right in the eyes melting your heart. He is calm, warm, loving and would make an EXCELLENT companion!

Chinese Crested dogs are so unique and interesting - all dogs have individual personalities, yes i know, but Cresteds are ...different. different in a wonderful and beautiful way. it is hard to explain how the little ones love and melt into people the way they do (a strangely common breed trait.)

it is obvious, once you meet one, why Chinese Crested dogs were kept by royalty in China as lap warmers and regal status symbols. Chinese Crested dogs are wonderful companion dogs, especially when kept in a calm environment, and bond strongly to their owners. they are also great for dog owners who have allergies as they do not shed.

the Great Saltini is curious about what you are doing and will trail you quietly from room to room. Salty has a fun crop of hair on his head (a bit Robert-Smith-y but white) and complex markings over his naked skin. i love to hold him, so warm. he is a patient dog and will sit with you for hours - after all, he just wants to be with you, his favorite person ever!

I couldn't have put this better myself! and it's so true about the "hugging" they do! Saltini is a sweetie.
