MARLEY

Marley is under a year, but pretty much full grown at about 28 pounds. His current foster mom says that he thinks he is a lap dog!

He's been out on a few walks in the city already, and everyone who meets him comments on what an amazing fellow he is! Marley is pretty relaxed in his home, so grateful to be out of the shelter! He's one of those really cute scruffy fellas that makes everyone laugh!

He's learning quickly and warmed right up to his foster home.... he's going to make someone a wonderful companion! (He also ignored the kitty at his foster home)

Marley

Marley is a love. He jumped right into bed last night and climbed on top of me. He is definitely too big for that so I didn't let him stay in bed with us. (My cat, Maxx, is still uncertain about him.)

What is cool about Marley is that he is such a mellow dog. All he wants is someone to love him, He is very friendly, loves his walks and hanging with little Angel. Even when she gets aggressive towards him, he doesn't get rough with her at all. He just isn't cool with being picked up but does like to jump up to tell you how much he loves you!!

He also figured out how to use the pet door without even being shown it. Maybe he watched Angel?

Bottom line, this dog is smart, has a great personality, a cool-looking face--I love his eyebrows and little hairs that stick up--and he will make a lucky someone an awesome companion!

Interested in Marley

Hello Rebecca,

I am going to fill out the adoption application. We are very interested in Marley. When can I expect to hear from someone?

Thanks
Ethan

Marley

Hey Ethan,

I only fostered Marley for a couple of days and took him back to Linda as I have 3 other animals. He is fun, very friendly and really likes people. I am sure that he will be at the adoption fair at the Animal House at Fillmore & Waller on Saturday so make sure that you come by to meet him.

He was OK with my cat until Maxx ran from him. He pulled at his leash and dug in the garden a bit. He REALLY needs a lot of attention to learn to be a little better-behaved but it's hard not to love that face when he sticks it in your lap. And he's great with other dogs!

IF I had more space and time and no cat, he would be a great dog. Just make sure that you have the time for him.

Rebecca

Thanks!

Hi Rebecca,

Thanks so much for the info!

It will certainly help to determine whether Marley is a good fit for us. He sure looks and sounds adorable though.

Reply re: Marley

Hello again Ethan,

I am fairly certain that with Wonder Dog, all dogs are adopted on a 2-week trial basis.

Take him home, give him lots of love and if you can't give him enough, then you can take him back. I just think that he needs some consistency in his life.

Good luck!
Rebecca

Soon!
