Hi and thanks for stopping by to get information on dog/animal transport through Wonder Dog Rescue. It is our goal to use our van to get animals to safety. Since January, 2011 we have offered ongoing transport, with wonderful success. This project began in conjunction with SOAR in Southern Oregon, but as of July 19th is now run solely by Wonder Dog Rescue. In November, 2010 we were contacted by the Shaw Family Fund, requesting a proposal for funding. It didn't take long for us to identify one *very* important project... getting a van.

The statistics around animal euthanasia are truly staggering. Determining the causes of shelter surrenders is on the forefront of many minds. We knew that we could get dogs to safety by transporting from high-kill areas into rescues and homes which have space and the ability to adopt out these animals. Thus, the birth of the transport project.

We've been working with Lee Kinsel, a man who has transported to rescue groups for many years. Please contact us for information regarding transport and please note the transport application attached to this section.
