3/28 update: Betty's foster reports that she is potty trained, sleeps through the night in her bed and is good with stairs. She loves to explore, go for slow walks where she can smell everything and she loves playing with toys. She's mellow and rests during the day when the foster is working, but is playful and would love someone who will play fetch with her. She loves everyone she meets. She has lived with other dogs.
UPDATE 3/19. Betty has really come out of her shell. She's extremely playful with another dog in the household, and cuddly with people too. She's active, spry, inquisitive and a lot of fun! She is available for adoption individually or with her 'sister', Ginger
We were contacted by a woman whose sister passed away, leaving these two dogs behind. They are bonded, but can be placed individually. Ginger is older and is the larger and more-white of the two. Betty is smaller. These girls are going through a good deal of sadness, as they were bonded to their owner. Still, they are gentle and loving and get along with dogs.
