Reiki means "universal life-force energy." It has proven to be very powerful and effective in working with animals. During a Reiki session, the practitioner places his or her hands in a number of positions on the animal's body, and the healing universal life energy is transmitted to wherever it needs to go in the body. The practitioner acts as an energy channel. Reiki works at the deep levels of the “body-mind,” facilitating healing energy to flow freely and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.

We're Moving!!!!!

Hello everyone,
I've been pretty quiet for a while... moving, Raja's illness and other hassles have kept me very busy. But there have been some really great things going on as well!

Wonder Dog is signing a lease for a new home! Our new home base will be in the Western Addition, at the corner of Fillmore and Hayes!! This will give us a space from which to conduct daily business, hold mobile adoptions and orientations and to conduct really neat workshops!

WDR Needs Foster Homes!

Kind People! The shelters are OVERFLOWING with animals who are being killed because of space. This includes purebred dogs, litters of moms with puppies, mutts.... seniors... no breed, age or gender is safe.

We are doing our part in rescuing dogs.... our foster homes are FULL! We REALLY need your support! If you can foster a dog please email asap! We can provide a crate, food, toys... whatever it takes to make this a successful experience for you and the dog.

You WILL be saving a life...........
