Hi! My Name Is Biggie
I'm Available
Here's what his foster has to say: Biggie is all about giving big love! He is the happiest boy when he is by your side and even happier in your lap. We don’t have any children in our home so I can’t confirm whether he is good with them but he has been amazing with adults and teenagers.
Biggie is deaf, which makes him very attentive and he is quick to learn new visual commands. He is eager to be a good boy and curious about understanding the world around him. He’s great on a leash and is good for short walks.
He can be reactive to some dogs and then fine with others. We are starting work with WDR's trainer to learn more about managing and reshaping this. His favorite past time is being near his humans while taking naps at home or in the car.
Biggie’s health has improved greatly since we got him. The ulcer in his eye has mostly cleared up after daily eye drops and he will be assessed by the vet again tomorrow. He has BOAS, common among the breed so breathing can be labored and loud when exercising or stress. He has separation anxiety so we are transitioning this by leaving him only for short periods of time in his crate. He also sleeps through the night in his crate. Biggie would thrive in a home where someone isn’t away at work all day.
