Daisy was found on the street in Merced and is estimated to be 8-10 months old. She is very affectionate and sweet with all people. She immediately jumps up for attention and also lays down on the sidewalk when she meets strangers for belly rubs.
She is most comfortable indoors and loves to snuggle in bed, on the couch and anywhere a human is sitting! She loves to run around inside the foster's apartment spotting birds and squirrels though the window. She would thrive in a fenced back yard to run around in. She will play fetch for a few seconds and then gets distracted in typical puppy fashion.
She mostly loves attention from people at all times, she is a classic Boston and rarely barks at noises. She likes short walks and does better on walks in nature areas with less distractions. She would do best in a quieter neighborhood with a backyard and a doggy door would be ideal.
She is fine meeting other dogs on leash, and when on her walks. However, indoors and off leash she is reactive towards other dogs when they get attention from people. Our wonder dog trainer said she will be able to adjust slowly to other dogs visiting at her new home, with very slow and neutral introductions being separate by a gate for the first few meetings.
She would do best as a solo dog. Met one cat indoors briefly and didn't seem affected so that may work. She needs lots of love, attention and a good puppy class!
