Juanito lives with another male boston, and they occasionally scuffle. For this reason the family is rehoming him. They also co-exist peacefully. His ideal home will be one where he can be the only dog, get a lot of love and have a nice yard, so that he can learn to bond with humans and lessen his fears. Juanito is 1.5 yers of age and was neutered at 1 year. The family also has two cats and Juanito seems to like them, but he usually plays too rough with them. He came from a back yard breeder who surrendered the entire litter to the family. It was obvious that these dogs had been mistreated and neglected. They were thin, and obsessive about getting food. They all had infections in their feet from what was caused by standing in filthy conditions in crates. The family did a great job of getting them back to health and finding homes. Juanito is VERY smart, food motivated and trains easily. He needs to eat slowly, and is given three meals a day. If he eats too much at one time he will vomit. He's housebroken and walks well on a leash. He has become overstimulated at dog parks, so the family stopped taking him. He has also exhibited prey drive toward squirrels, raccoons, etc in the yard.
