Meet Nectarine — a sweet, affectionate, and eager to please 1.5 to 2 year-old Pitbull Terrier mix looking for her forever home. She was recently saved from the euthanasia list in Oakland, and she’s proven to be an incredibly loving, loyal, and resilient silly girl. She’s a great walker with no reactivity to dogs or people. She loves exploring everywhere with us. Nectarine adores people and bonds quickly to hers. She will make us pet and love her when she wakes up every morning. She is very smart and picks up training cues fast. She’s always eager to learn more. When she’s not training, she’ll keep you entertained with her goofy energy and curiosity. Nectarine has lots of energy and would thrive in a home with a yard, a decent amount of space, and/or someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. She’s currently living in an apartment and the noise above us makes her a bit anxious, so a quieter home environment would help her decompress. She is a typical enthusiastic, happy dog, so she may jump or be mouthy when excited, but it’s always playful — and with consistency, she’s already improving.
