Stinson is a special fella. He has abandonment issues, due to literally being abandoned for four months in an empty house when his ‘family” left the country. Aside from his foster, he is suspicious of people, but also afraid of being alone. He barks at strangers and takes quite a while to warm up. He is fairly neutral around other dogs — he tolerates them, but likes his own space.
Stinson needs a patient, knowledgeable, loving adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. He can be around other dogs if they mostly leave him alone. Right now he is an indoor, pee-pad dog, but with easy access to the outdoors, could be housetrained.
