Meet Truman! Truman is a 6 month old neutered and vaccinated Shih Tzu / Poodle mix puppy who has had a bit of a rough start but is ready to move on and be someone's new best friend. We expect him to be 10-12 lbs when fully grown. Truman's current environment is overwhelming for him; its industrial, loud and full of roaming off leash big dogs who have gone after him more than once, As a result, his loving human has made the decision to look for a better environment for him. Truman is very sweet with people and small dogs. He would love a small, friendly play buddy! He also loves and plays with his kitty sibling! Large dogs, loud noises, unpredictable movements are hard for him. His ideal home would have experienced and patient humans who are familiar with shy dogs and understand the needs of a puppy. His new home should be in a less urban environment and/or have a safe yard/play area for him to get his puppy energy out while he continues to build his confidence, Tuman has been to puppy school, is 95% housebroken, is intelligent and takes well to training. He's ready to really build his confidence and enjoy the big world! Older kids only for Truman as the noise and unpredictability of young children would not be good for him.
